Richard Davidson has over twenty-five years of experience in fund management. His roles have included Partner at Lansdowne Partners, Chief Investment Officer and Chief European Strategist at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Fund Manager of Morgan Stanley’s $7bn Global Asset Allocation Fund. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the University of Edinburgh Endowment Investment Committee and as Chairman of Investment Committee at Gresham House Forestry, where he is also a fund manager.

Donald Farquharson joined Baillie Gifford in 2008 as an Investment Manager on the Japanese Equity Team and was appointed Partner in 2017. Donald is the manager of the Japan Growth strategy which he has run since its inception on 31st December 2009. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford he worked for Schroders as a Japanese specialist.

Amanda leads the responsible investment activities within the ESG Investment team. Her analysts focus on integrating analysis of human rights, environment, labour standards and business ethics matters into the mainstream investment process. In addition, she oversees Standard Life Investments’ Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI), ethical, climate change and impact investment propositions. Amanda is a member of Standard Life Aberdeen’s Diversity Leadership Committee. Amanda provided support to the Advisory Group to Government on creating a culture of social impact investment and savings. She was a member of the board of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) for six years and current sits on the FTSE Russell ESG Advisory Committee.
In 2017, Amanda was included in the Financial News list of the top 100 most influential women in Finance.
